Job Summary: The Corporate Controller will oversee and direct all accounting functions including financial reporting, taxes, and treasury. The role will be key in continuously improving the accounting and reporting processes as business needs change yet be scalable and efficient in support of the company’s future growth. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Technical Responsibilities • Responsible for the corporate accounting in compliance with U.S. GAAP• Manage the daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting functions including monthly rollup financial statement presentation, annual budget preparation and year-end audit activities• Responsible for overseeing all treasury activities in the US and abroad• Provide business analysis, forecasting and budgeting for the organization• Responsible for making recommendations for financial and operational improvements • Maintain and make recommendations to improve our system of internal accounting controls as they relate to financial reporting rollup, GL schemas, payroll, inventory and manufacturing• Work within our existing ERP system and lead efforts to recommend and implement any expansions or changes to this system• Responsible for developing ERP and process training curriculum, assessing where gaps exist and conducting training for ongoing continuous improvement Analyst Responsibilities • Querying data from SQL databases to improve visibility to data for various company stakeholders• Work within our existing ERP system and assist in efforts to recommend and implement any expansions or changes to this system• Ad hoc research projects and reporting as needed Management Responsibilities • Provide leadership and direction, developing workload assignments, monitoring activities, training, and motivating staff to perform at highest level• Responsible for documentation of processes, systems, internal controls, and reviews against ‘Best Practices’ for accounts payable, accounts receivable, accounting and finance• Passionate about coaching and training the team; effective at setting individual and team goals which help develop team member• Manage/review accounting activities of foreign plants to assure accurate reporting, tax filings and adherence to appropriate financial standards

Education: • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance or similar Experience• Minimum 8-10+ years of progressively responsible experience in an accounting management roleCertificates, Licenses, Registrations • Active CPA required Skills & Competencies: • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel/Power Pivot, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint• Understanding of U.S. GAAP as it applies to a manufacturing environment is required• Knowledge of accounting statements and financial reporting experience in an ERP environment is strongly encouraged• Excel-based modeling • SQL-query skills preferred - highly proficient in pulling information from SQL databases. • BI tools (Qlikview, MS Power Query, Tableau) preferred• ERP – technical understanding, ability to troubleshoot. Example systems - SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Visual Mfg, MS D365 Dynamics preferred • Experience with accounting software systems required, D365 experience preferred• Excellent analytic skills• Must be capable of speaking, reading and writing English with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
