<p>We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Reading, Pennsylvania. This is a long-term contract position that offers an excellent opportunity to utilize advanced accounting skills and support financial operations through detailed analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in data analytics, month-end processes, and general ledger reconciliations while showcasing their proficiency in Excel and accounting systems.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Perform comprehensive data analysis and comparisons to support financial decision-making and process improvements.</p><p>• Handle month-end tasks, including preparing journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.</p><p>• Conduct detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to maintain financial accuracy.</p><p>• Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze large datasets and generate meaningful insights.</p><p>• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes using AI-driven tools.</p><p>• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) operations efficiently.</p><p>• Prepare and complete bank reconciliations to ensure proper cash flow management.</p><p>• Work with ERP systems like NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage financial data.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.</p><p>• Support audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors as required.</p><p><br></p><p>If interested, please send resume on word document to Jim.Kirk@Roberthalf com</p>

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.<br>• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience with a focus on detail.<br>• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including data analysis and reporting.<br>• Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and general ledger reconciliations.<br>• Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP.<br>• Familiarity with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) procedures.<br>• Ability to perform detailed bank reconciliations and journal entries.<br>• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in handling large datasets.
