We are looking for a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our dedicated team in Prairie Village, Kansas. As part of our collaborative firm, you will work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Conduct thorough legal research to support case development and strategy.<br>• Draft pleadings, motions, and precise correspondence with attention to detail.<br>• Represent clients by attending hearings, depositions, and court proceedings.<br>• Manage cases involving insurance coverage, including environmental, employment practices, directors and officers (D& O), specialty risk, excess, and reinsurance.<br>• Handle defense litigation matters such as premises liability, auto/trucking accidents, personal injury, and general negligence.<br>• Address contract disputes with effective legal strategies.<br>• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive case preparation and execution.<br>• Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members when needed.<br>• Maintain strong relationships with clients and other legal stakeholders.

• Must possess an active Kansas law license.<br>• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.<br>• Strong proficiency in civil litigation processes, including drafting motions and briefing.<br>• Expertise in discovery and insurance law practices.<br>• Background in defense litigation and insurance defense litigation.<br>• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.<br>• Commitment to growth and development.
