This long-term contract position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect organizational networks and sensitive data from cyber threats and unauthorized access. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing security protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating across teams to strengthen the overall cybersecurity program. Responsibilities:• Design and deploy robust security architectures, including firewalls, access controls, encryption standards, and intrusion detection systems.• Monitor and maintain cybersecurity tools, ensuring their continuous availability and timely updates.• Manage the remediation of security incidents, vulnerabilities, and system hardening activities.• Develop and enforce comprehensive cybersecurity standards and practices to safeguard organizational assets.• Collaborate with IT teams, risk management departments, and external security partners to advance cybersecurity initiatives.• Participate in internal and external security audits and penetration testing to identify and address security gaps.• Align all activities with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.• Provide training and guidance on security measures to ensure compliance and promote awareness.• Support strategic projects and initiatives while demonstrating professionalism and teamwork.• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality to support operational excellence.

• Associate’s Degree in Cybersecurity is mandatory. • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security is preferred. • At least 10 years of experience in IT Cybersecurity roles is required. • Minimum of 8 years’ experience specifically as an IT Cybersecurity Engineer is essential. • At least 4 years of experience working within the financial services sector is required. • Familiarity with regulatory and industry standards is a must. • Certifications such as CISSP, SSCP, CompTIA Security+, or ITILv3 Foundation are highly desirable. • Strong knowledge of data privacy, database security, cyber governance, and computer file protection is essential.
