<p>Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled <strong>PDF Forms Specialist</strong> with strong technical expertise in <strong>Adobe Acrobat</strong> to troubleshoot, rebuild, and optimize fillable PDF forms that contain <strong>multi-step calculation logic</strong>. This role is focused on <strong>fixing and improving the underlying functionality</strong>, not visual design.</p><p>The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building and debugging <strong>complex calculated fields</strong> in Acrobat, ensuring forms calculated accurately and consistently across all required use cases.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Duration:</strong> Short-term contract</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>100% remote - Portland Based client </p><p><strong>Rate: </strong>up to $50/hourly (W2)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Review existing fillable PDF forms (20+ currently in use) to assess calculation issues and logic errors.</li><li>Rebuild, correct, and optimize <strong>multi-step calculations</strong> within Adobe Acrobat.</li><li>Update or recreate interactive form fields while maintaining existing formatting and templates.</li><li>Ensure all embedded calculations function accurately and consistently.</li><li>Test and validate form performance to ensure calculations are correct across various scenarios.</li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand calculation requirements and troubleshoot problem areas.</li><li>Provide recommendations for improving form logic, structure, or stability.</li></ul>

<ul><li><strong>Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro</strong>, specifically in form creation and form field logic.</li><li>Strong understanding of <strong>calculated fields, custom calculations, and multi-step logic workflows</strong> within Acrobat.</li><li>Experience diagnosing and correcting miscalculations or broken form logic in existing PDFs.</li><li>Ability to work within <strong>pre-existing templates - </strong>no design or branding work required.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in logic building.</li><li>Ability to clearly document logic changes and communicate technical updates to non-technical users.</li></ul><p><strong>Nice-to-Have Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with <strong>JavaScript in Adobe Acrobat</strong> for advanced calculation customization.</li><li>Prior experience working with high-volume, standardized PDF forms.</li><li>QA or testing background related to form functionality.</li></ul><p><br></p>
