<p>Robert Half is looking for a Data Analyst with FP& A analysts experience to support a client in technology industry. This is a contract position. </p><p><br></p><p>This is a hands-on role ideal for someone early in their data science career who’s eager to apply Python skills to FP& A challenges. This person will work closely with finance and analytics stakeholders to build tools, automate workflows, and extract insights that drive smarter business decisions.</p><ul><li>Collaborate with FP& A analysts to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions</li><li>Develop and maintain Python scripts for financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting</li><li>Clean, transform, and analyze financial datasets to uncover trends and anomalies</li><li>Build dashboards and visualizations to support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles</li><li>Automate repetitive data tasks and improve reporting efficiency</li><li>Support ad hoc analysis requests from finance and business teams</li></ul>

<ul><li>1-3 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field</li><li>Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Jupyter, etc.)</li><li>Familiarity with FP& A concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis</li><li>Experience working with financial data and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar)</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders</li></ul><p>Nice-to-have skills: </p><ul><li>Experience with SQL or cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)</li><li>Exposure to financial modeling or corporate finance</li><li>Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative workflow</li></ul>
