Administrative Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team in Portland, Maine. This position is a long-term contract opportunity ideal for someone eager to grow and develop their skills in a dynamic, smaller office environment. The role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional administrative support.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage inbound phone calls and provide attentive assistance to clients and colleagues.<br>• Deliver excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.<br>• Perform accurate data entry tasks to maintain organized and up-to-date records.<br>• Assist in daily office operations and ensure smooth workflows.<br>• Prioritize and adjust tasks as needed throughout the day to meet deadlines.<br>• Collaborate with team members to support various business functions.<br>• Maintain a welcoming reception area and greet visitors with courtesy and professionalism.<br>• Take initiative to learn and cross-train on multiple aspects of the office processes.<br>• Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.<br>• Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures at all times.
• Previous experience in administrative or receptionist roles.<br>• Strong customer service skills with a client-focused mindset.<br>• Proficiency in data entry and basic computer applications.<br>• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.<br>• Willingness to learn and cross-train in various areas of the organization.<br>• High level of professionalism and attention to detail.<br>• Comfortable working in a smaller office setting and contributing to a team-oriented atmosphere.
