Cloud Architect Consultant
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect Consultant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will provide expert guidance in expanding cloud infrastructure, with a focus on AWS architecture, while ensuring seamless integration with existing Azure environments. This position offers the opportunity to lead critical cloud initiatives and support team development in cloud technologies.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Design and implement robust AWS architecture to support cloud expansion strategies.<br>• Facilitate integration of multiple AWS accounts while ensuring best practices and security standards.<br>• Prepare comprehensive documentation of architecture designs, processes, and configurations.<br>• Provide mentorship and training to team members to enhance their AWS skills and confidence.<br>• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between cloud strategies and business objectives.<br>• Monitor and optimize cloud systems for performance, scalability, and security.<br>• Lead initiatives to diversify cloud dependencies and strengthen the organization's cloud posture.<br>• Ensure compatibility and smooth interoperability between AWS and Azure environments.<br>• Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to prevent cloud misconfigurations.<br>• Support the launch of AWS-native product lines by delivering well-architected solutions.
• Extensive expertise in AWS technologies, including AWS IAM, Lambda, EC2, and Auto Scaling.<br>• Proficiency in cloud monitoring tools such as Amazon CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, and AWS Config.<br>• Strong knowledge of security tools, including AWS Security Hub and Ansible.<br>• Experience in designing and integrating multi-account AWS architectures.<br>• Proven ability to document technical processes and architectural designs effectively.<br>• Familiarity with Azure cloud environments and split-cloud strategies.<br>• Excellent communication skills to guide and train technical teams.<br>• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results within tight timelines.
