Senior Revenue/Reimbursement Accountant

This role will play a pivotal role in integrating new acquisitions into the corporate accounting system, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and seamless transitions.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee the accounting system integration for acquisitions, including closing books and documenting processes.</li><li>Collaborate with the Billing and Revenue Cycle Management teams to reconcile monthly payments.</li><li>Perform detailed analysis of A/R ledger accounts to ensure revenue accuracy.</li><li>Review purchase agreements, work across multiple EMRs, and convert cash-based accounting to accrual accounting when needed.</li><li>Reconcile all bank statements monthly and audit various expense accounts for accuracy and timeliness.</li><li>Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis.</li><li>Work closely with the VP of Finance and Accounting Manager to address budget, audit, and investor information requests.</li><li>Document and write detailed procedures to hand over acquisitions to the corporate accounting team.</li></ul><p><strong> Why This Role Is Exciting:</strong></p><p>This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by contributing to major transitions and growth initiatives at a reputable healthcare organization. <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.</li><li>4+ years of full-cycle accounting experience is required. </li><li>Healthcare industry experience is preferred</li><li>CPA or CPA candidacy is preferred.</li><li>Must have strong technical skills, including Great Plains, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUP).</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of financial statement preparation and compliance with standard accounting concepts.</li><li>Experience converting cash-based financials to accrual accounting is a strong plus.</li></ul><p><br></p>
