<p>We are looking for an experienced Plant Controller for a contract position in Piscataway, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with over a decade of experience in financial management within manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in cost accounting, financial reporting, and controllership, ensuring the efficient and accurate oversight of plant operations. This role is fully onsite. Please apply immediately to be considered!</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.</p><p>• Manage manufacturing cost accounting activities to analyze production expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.</p><p>• Develop and implement financial reporting systems to provide clear insights into plant performance.</p><p>• Lead controllership functions, including compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.</p><p>• Collaborate with plant management to create budgets and forecasts that align with operational goals.</p><p>• Monitor and evaluate inventory costs, providing detailed analysis to support decision-making.</p><p>• Prepare financial statements and reports to present to senior leadership.</p><p>• Assist with audits and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.</p><p>• Optimize accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.</p><p>• Provide guidance and leadership to the accounting team, fostering detail oriented growth.</p>

<p>• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, preferably within manufacturing environments.</p><p>• Strong proficiency in cost accounting methodologies and practices.</p><p>• Expertise in month-end close processes and financial reporting.</p><p>• Comprehensive knowledge of controllership functions and compliance standards.</p><p>• Proven ability to work with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.</p><p>• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.</p><p>• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.</p>
