Marketing Assistant
We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our team in Piedmont, South Carolina, on a Contract to permanent basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in coordinating and promoting blood drive events, ensuring seamless communication between partnering businesses and our organization. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful initiatives while utilizing your organizational and event management skills.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Coordinate the scheduling and organization of blood drive events with partnering businesses.<br>• Serve as the primary liaison between our organization and blood drive coordinators, ensuring clear communication and efficient event planning.<br>• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and distribute promotional materials for upcoming events.<br>• Manage event logistics, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.<br>• Maintain and oversee key accounts related to blood drive partnerships, ensuring long-term relationships.<br>• Plan and execute email marketing campaigns to boost event participation.<br>• Support direct marketing efforts by creating targeted campaigns for specific audiences.<br>• Handle administrative tasks such as tracking event details and preparing follow-up reports.<br>• Work flexible hours, including 1st/2nd shifts and occasional weekends, to accommodate event schedules.<br>• Assist in identifying areas for improvement in event planning and marketing strategies.
• Proven experience in event coordination, marketing, or a related field.<br>• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.<br>• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with partners and team members.<br>• Proficiency in email marketing tools and direct marketing strategies.<br>• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.<br>• Familiarity with account management practices and maintaining key business relationships.<br>• Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in scheduling and promotional materials.<br>• Experience in creating and executing marketing campaigns is a plus.
