Robert Half Management Resources is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join one of our clients on an interim basis. This role is integral to maintaining accuracy and efficiency within the hospital accounting department. Responsibilities:• Perform month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.• Reconcile accounts to maintain the integrity of financial records.• Prepare and post journal entries while adhering to accounting standards.• Utilize Lawson software for financial reporting and data management.• Collaborate with team members to address and resolve accounting discrepancies.• Analyze financial data to support decision-making processes.• Generate detailed and accurate reports using Excel.• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounting department.

• Proficiency in Lawson software for accounting purposes. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting. • Extensive experience in month-end close procedures. • Strong knowledge of account reconciliation processes. • Ability to prepare and manage journal entries with precision. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Familiarity with healthcare industry accounting standards is a plus. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
