Phoenix Commercial Litigation Paralegal
<p>We are looking for a skilled and experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join our mid-sized law firm client's team in Central Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves handling complex commercial litigation cases and providing support in bankruptcy-related legal matters. The position offers a hybrid work environment, with the possibility of remote work one to two days per week after training and ramping up, depending on workload.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Assist attorneys in preparing and filing legal documents, including bankruptcy notices, certifications, motions, and schedules.</p><p>• Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with Bankruptcy Rules, local bankruptcy rules, and Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure.</p><p>• Manage case files and maintain accurate records of case progress, filings, and deadlines.</p><p>• Facilitate electronic filing processes in Superior Court and other relevant jurisdictions.</p><p>• Collaborate with attorneys to draft and review legal correspondence and court submissions.</p><p>• Support discovery processes by organizing and managing documents, exhibits, and evidence.</p><p>• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed.</p><p>• Utilize case management software to ensure efficient tracking and organization of case details.</p><p>• Provide administrative support to attorneys during hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.</p><p>• Stay updated on changes in bankruptcy and civil litigation laws to ensure compliance.</p>
<p>• Proven experience as a paralegal, with a focus on commercial litigation and bankruptcy law.</p><p>• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and legal case management software.</p><p>• In-depth knowledge of Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure.</p><p>• Experience with electronic filing in Superior Court and other relevant jurisdictions.</p><p>• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple cases and deadlines.</p><p>• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with attention to detail.</p><p>• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.</p><p>• Flexibility to work remotely one to two days per week, based on workload and firm policies.</p>
