We are looking for a dedicated Collections Specialist to join our team on a Contract basis in Phoenix, Arizona. This role requires a proactive individual with expertise in commercial and consumer collections, as well as thorough knowledge of credit and billing processes. Responsibilities: • Manage the collection of outstanding payments from both commercial and consumer accounts. • Communicate professionally and effectively with clients to resolve payment issues while maintaining strong customer relationships. • Analyze account histories and identify discrepancies or payment delays. • Develop and implement strategies to maximize recovery of overdue balances. • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements during all collection activities. • Prepare detailed reports on collection activities and account statuses. • Collaborate with internal teams to address billing and account concerns. • Maintain accurate and organized records of all interactions and payment agreements. • Utilize established collection processes to achieve departmental goals. • Provide exceptional service while handling sensitive financial information.

• Proven experience in commercial and consumer collections. • Strong knowledge of credit collection principles and billing procedures. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Ability to analyze account data and resolve discrepancies effectively. • Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing workload. • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing collections. • High attention to detail and organizational skills. • Experience with collection tools and software is preferred.
