Social Media Coordinator
<p>Robert Half has a client seeking a Freelance Social Media Coordinator local to Philadelphia who can work an estimated 10 hours per week for an ongoing duration. This candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the company’s brand awareness and social media strategy. This candidate will create, manage, and execute content and campaigns across multiple platforms while collaborating closely with internal department heads to stay aligned with programs, initiatives, and events.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Core Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate and execute the social media strategy across <strong>LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), and YouTube</strong></li><li>Develop and manage a <strong>social media content calendar</strong> to ensure consistent activity and engagement</li><li>Assist with the design and execution of <strong>social media campaigns</strong></li><li>Distribute a variety of content including <strong>images, videos, press releases, and thought leadership</strong></li><li>Track and analyze social media engagement to identify high-performing content and scalable ideas</li><li>Post updates related to <strong>internal and external events</strong></li><li>Conduct <strong>competitive and social media marketing research</strong></li><li>Brainstorm and research ideas for original, audience-relevant content</li><li>Write compelling social copy aligned with <strong>the brand voice and target audiences</strong></li><li>Research and implement new strategies to increase engagement and reach</li><li>Actively create conversation and engagement with followers across all platforms</li><li>Ensure <strong>brand consistency</strong> in messaging and visuals across channels</li><li>Monitor and compare competitor social media performance</li><li>Stay current on social media trends, tools, technologies, and scheduling platforms</li><li>Support <strong>ad hoc projects and requests</strong> across various departments</li></ul>
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management or a related role.<br>• Proficiency in creating and executing social media campaigns across multiple platforms.<br>• Strong skills in content creation, including graphics, videos, and written materials.<br>• Ability to analyze social media metrics and translate data into actionable insights.<br>• Familiarity with social media scheduling tools and design applications.<br>• Excellent communication skills to craft engaging and brand-aligned content.<br>• Capacity to stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into strategies.<br>• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
