<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>We’re seeking a skilled <strong>Automation Engineer</strong> to join a backend-focused engineering team in Philadelphia. This role centers on backend services—no frontend development—supporting customer data, recordings, and scheduling systems. You’ll collaborate with teams based in Pennsylvania and India, contributing to a fast-paced, automation-driven environment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain backend services for:</li><li>Customer account data</li><li>Recording and device data</li><li>Scheduling and reminders</li><li>Work with NoSQL databases such as <strong>MongoDB</strong> and <strong>Cassandra</strong></li><li>Support CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes frameworks via syndication partners</li><li>Ensure backend systems are scalable, reliable, and fully automated</li></ul>

<p><strong>Technical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Languages & Tools:</strong></li><li>Strong proficiency in <strong>Java</strong> (backend services)</li><li>Experience with <strong>IntelliJ</strong> or <strong>Eclipse</strong></li><li>Version control using <strong>GitHub</strong></li><li>Project management via <strong>JIRA</strong></li><li><strong>Experience:</strong>3–5 years in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)</li><li>Solid background as a Software Development Engineer (SDE)</li><li><strong>Automation: </strong>Role is nearly 100% automated</li><li>Candidates with strong coding skills and stack understanding are encouraged to apply</li></ul><p><strong>Interview Process</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Format:</strong> Virtual preferred</li><li><strong>Structure:</strong> 1-hour session including:</li><li>A brief coding exercise</li><li>Technical and behavioral interview</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Networking experience (preferred but not required)</li><li>Familiarity with VCR systems (nice to have)</li></ul><p><strong>What We’re Not Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>Manual testers – this role is focused on automation and backend engineering</li></ul><p><br></p>
