We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time, contract basis in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. This role is 100% onsite and involves managing key accounting tasks to support daily operations. The position offers flexibility with scheduling and a collaborative work environment. Responsibilities: • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness. • Perform month-end adjustments and reconcile accounts to maintain financial integrity. • Manage insurance amortizations and other recurring financial entries. • Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper documentation of transactions. • Prepare basic financial reports to support decision-making and business operations. • Utilize Sage 100 and Excel software for accounting tasks and data management. • Handle ad hoc projects to address business needs and improve processes. • Collaborate with the owner to provide regular updates and insights on financial matters.

• At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. • Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. • Strong knowledge of Sage 100 and Microsoft Excel. • Experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting. • Ability to manage general ledger maintenance and ensure accurate data entry. • Familiarity with insurance amortizations and related accounting practices. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work onsite in a business casual environment and manage a flexible part-time schedule.
