We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. This is a long-term contract position offering an opportunity to contribute to key financial operations and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in corporate accounting and compliance, along with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in managing financial tasks. Responsibilities:• Oversee corporate accounting operations, including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and journal entries.• Prepare and analyze budgets and forecasts to support strategic financial planning.• Conduct month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.• Research and resolve technical accounting issues to ensure compliance with regulations.• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal reporting requirements, maintaining compliance at all levels.• Perform account reconciliations and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.• Generate financial reports and statements to provide insights to stakeholders.• Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting processes and systems for greater efficiency.

• Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting. • Strong proficiency in managing general ledger and journal entries. • Expertise in account reconciliation and bank reconciliation procedures. • Solid knowledge of corporate accounting principles and regulatory compliance. • Ability to research and resolve technical accounting issues. • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting processes. • Effective communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
