We are looking for a dedicated Litigation Attorney to join our team on a contract basis in Pasadena, California. This role involves managing a variety of litigation cases, providing expert legal counsel, and successfully navigating complex legal disputes. Candidates with experience in civil and employment law will be particularly well-suited for this position, as they will play a key role in delivering high-quality legal services.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Represent clients in various civil litigation matters, including trials, motions, depositions, and discovery processes.<br>• Offer strategic legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring clarity on case outcomes and options.<br>• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and develop compelling arguments.<br>• Draft, review, and finalize legal documents such as contracts, agreements, pleadings, motions, and briefs.<br>• Collaborate effectively with other attorneys and legal staff on complex cases to ensure thorough and timely service delivery.<br>• Communicate and negotiate with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials to advance case objectives.<br>• Facilitate settlement discussions and alternative dispute resolution proceedings when appropriate.<br>• Remain informed on litigation trends and developments in employment law to maintain a competitive edge.<br>• Manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.<br>• Active membership in a state bar association, in good standing.<br>• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience handling litigation cases, particularly in civil or employment law.<br>• Strong knowledge of employment law, including matters such as discrimination claims, wage disputes, and wrongful termination.<br>• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.<br>• Proven ability to provide practical, solutions-oriented legal advice and resolve disputes efficiently.<br>• Experience working independently and collaboratively in a law firm or legal department setting.<br>• Proficiency in drafting motions, briefs, and discovery documents with attention to accuracy and effectiveness.
