We are looking for an accomplished Logistics Analyst to join our team in Parsippany, New Jersey. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in optimizing transportation and supply chain operations within the manufacturing industry. Ideal candidates will bring strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and expertise in logistics processes to drive efficiency and collaboration.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Plan and coordinate transportation loads to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.<br>• Leverage transportation management systems to track, manage, and optimize logistics operations.<br>• Analyze supply chain performance data and identify areas for improvement.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve logistical challenges and streamline processes.<br>• Develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency while maintaining high service standards.<br>• Monitor compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.<br>• Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage data, create reports, and support decision-making processes.<br>• Support the implementation and improvement of logistics software and tools.<br>• Stay updated on industry trends to recommend innovative solutions for supply chain improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.<br>• In-depth knowledge of transportation, logistics, or supply chain management.<br>• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to solve complex problems collaboratively.<br>• Demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to inspire and guide teams.<br>• Proficiency in transportation management systems and other relevant logistics software.<br>• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.<br>• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.<br>• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
