Desktop Support Analyst
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Palmyra, New York. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of desktop systems and providing technical support to end-users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Provide technical assistance and support for desktop systems, including hardware and software troubleshooting.<br>• Manage and deploy system images using deployment tools and endpoint management solutions.<br>• Configure and maintain user accounts and permissions within Active Directory.<br>• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, including wired and wireless networks.<br>• Perform installations, updates, and maintenance of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.<br>• Ensure proper documentation of processes, solutions, and technical issues.<br>• Support Microsoft 365 applications and provide guidance to users on their functionality.<br>• Utilize PowerShell scripting for automation tasks and system configurations.<br>• Collaborate with team members to improve IT support processes and ensure an efficient workflow.<br>• Monitor and respond to technical support requests in a timely manner.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles.<br>• Strong understanding of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.<br>• Proficiency in system imaging, deployment tools, and endpoint management solutions such as Intune.<br>• Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account management.<br>• Basic knowledge of network fundamentals, including wired connections and Wi-Fi.<br>• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.<br>• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration is a plus.<br>• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, MD-100/MD-101, or equivalent are preferred.
