Probate Accounting Paralegal
We are looking for a skilled Probate Accounting Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Palm Springs, California. This role involves providing expertise in managing estate and tax matters, ensuring compliance with California Probate Code, and handling complex accounting processes. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in probate law and estate administration, coupled with exceptional organizational and time-management skills.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Perform detailed accounting and filing for estate and tax liabilities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.<br>• Prepare and manage probate-related accounting documents in adherence to California-specific probate codes.<br>• Facilitate trustee liability discharge processes, including obtaining signed waivers and preparing supporting documentation.<br>• Efficiently handle large estate portfolios, leveraging prior experience working with substantial client bases.<br>• Complete high-volume form work and documentation for estate and tax matters within strict deadlines.<br>• Collaborate with remote systems, utilizing provided equipment and online access to fulfill job requirements.<br>• Ensure all probate processes align with state regulations and maintain meticulous attention to detail throughout.<br>• Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines during the short-term engagement.
• Extensive knowledge of California Probate Code and probate-specific accounting systems.<br>• Proven experience managing significant estate portfolios.<br>• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high volumes of documentation efficiently.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and time-management abilities to meet stringent deadlines.<br>• Familiarity with probate law, estate tax processes, and probate administration.<br>• Proficiency in case management software and related tools.<br>• Ability to work independently and adapt to remote systems provided for the contract period.
