Executive Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented and resourceful Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the Executive Director of a nonprofit organization in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of the executive office and contributing to the organization’s mission. The ideal candidate will excel in managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling sensitive communications with professionalism.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage the Executive Director’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and coordinating travel arrangements.<br>• Prepare agendas, presentations, and materials for meetings and events.<br>• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the executive office, ensuring smooth workflows and organization.<br>• Maintain accurate records and manage document filing systems.<br>• Coordinate meetings for the Board of Directors and committees, including scheduling, preparing materials, and recording minutes.<br>• Act as a liaison between the Executive Director, board members, staff, and external stakeholders.<br>• Assist with organizational projects, events, and fundraising initiatives to support strategic goals.<br>• Implement digital tools and office software to streamline processes and improve communication across departments.<br>• Track delegated tasks and follow up on action items to ensure timely completion.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in administrative support, business administration, or a related field.<br>• At least three years of experience in an administrative role, preferably supporting executive leadership in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.<br>• Proficiency with scheduling tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software platforms.<br>• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.<br>• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.<br>• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.<br>• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.<br>• Familiarity with donor management systems or fundraising platforms is a plus.
