We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our client in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role offers an opportunity to play a critical part in managing and analyzing financial operations while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in month-end close processes and accounting for construction projects. Responsibilities:• Oversee and execute month-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.• Monitor and analyze financial data related to construction projects, providing insights and recommendations.• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements to maintain compliance with accounting principles.• Collaborate with project teams to ensure proper cost allocation and tracking for construction-related expenses.• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning efforts.• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting operations.• Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries.• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced accounting staff.• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and streamline financial processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Proven experience in month-end close processes and construction project accounting. • Strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards. • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
