Controller
<p>We are looking for a dedicated Controller to join a growing team in Oklahoma City, OK. This role is essential for overseeing financial operations within a manufacturing/construction environment, ensuring accurate cost accounting and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing accounting processes and a strong ability to analyze and reconcile financial data.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage manufacturing cost accounting processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of cost data.</p><p>• Oversee month-end close procedures, including preparation and review of financial statements.</p><p>• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring data integrity and compliance.</p><p>• Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate financial reporting.</p><p>• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to verify financial information and resolve discrepancies.</p><p>• Handle bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial records and bank statements.</p><p>• Perform credit card reconciliations to monitor transactions and maintain accountability.</p><p>• Collaborate on project accounting tasks to track costs and optimize financial outcomes.</p><p>• Provide financial insights and support to operations teams to drive informed decision-making.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies in all financial processes.</p>
<p>• Proven experience in manufacturing, construction or project based accounting </p><p>• Proficiency in handling month-end close processes and financial reporting.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and reconciliation practices.</p><p>• Ability to prepare and analyze journal entries with a high degree of accuracy.</p><p>• Expertise in balance sheet, bank, and credit card reconciliations.</p><p>• Familiarity with project accounting principles and practices.</p><p>• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.</p><p>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required </p><p>• MBA or CPA preferred </p>
