Logistics Analyst
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to join our team in Okemos, Michigan. This is a Contract-to-permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing logistics organization while advancing your career. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rail operations and logistics coordination and thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Coordinate and oversee services for an established portfolio of rail accounts, ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction.</p><p>• Analyze operations to identify potential challenges and implement effective solutions.</p><p>• Manage client activities using proprietary systems, providing comprehensive visibility into services performed on their behalf.</p><p>• Monitor and maintain profitability levels across all managed client accounts.</p><p>• Plan and organize work independently, utilizing diverse procedures to meet objectives.</p><p>• Address client service concerns promptly and follow through until resolution.</p><p>• Collaborate with teams to improve processes and achieve operational efficiencies.</p><p>• Utilize advanced systems and tools to streamline logistics operations.</p><p>• Perform additional duties as assigned to support business goals.</p>
• At least 2 years of experience in rail operations or logistics coordination.<br>• Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.<br>• Familiarity with proprietary systems used in rail or logistics operations is highly desirable.<br>• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.<br>• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.<br>• Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
