Senior Financial Reporting Accountant
<p>We are looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join a growing team in OKC, Oklahoma. In this role, you will oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with reporting standards and accuracy in financial records. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage reporting processes and provide technical accounting expertise.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee the monthly consolidation of financial statements, including preparation of detailed workbooks and rollforwards such as cash flow statements and equity reports.</p><p>• Analyze accounting records, financial statements, and reports to verify accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.</p><p>• Calculate and maintain share-based compensation expense entries, incorporating adjustments for events such as forfeitures, grants, vesting changes, and modifications.</p><p>• Gain a comprehensive understanding of NetSuite and its role in financial reporting processes.</p><p>• Prepare quarterly and annual filings, including Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, and related Form 8-K earnings releases.</p><p>• Collaborate with external partners to ensure proper tagging and compliance in financial reporting systems.</p><p>• Draft technical accounting memos for auditors on recurring topics such as impairment assessments, going concern evaluations, and significant transactions.</p><p>• Partner with external auditors during quarterly and year-end reviews, ensuring timely submission of necessary documentation.</p>
• Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.<br>• CPA certification or candidacy is preferred.<br>• Proven experience in financial analysis, SEC reporting, and technical accounting.<br>• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting with strong attention to detail.<br>• Background in senior audit roles at public accounting firms is highly desirable.<br>• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.<br>• Expertise in financial reporting systems, including NetSuite.<br>• Ability to clearly explain financial concepts and principles to diverse audiences.
