We are looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Dispatcher to join our team in Obetz, Ohio. In this contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in coordinating freight movements, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining effective communication with drivers. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic logistics environment while supporting career growth.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Assign and dispatch truck drivers to ensure timely and efficient freight delivery.<br>• Enter data accurately into systems to maintain up-to-date records and documentation.<br>• Manage and organize databases to optimize logistics operations.<br>• Follow up on unpaid invoices to ensure proper payment resolution.<br>• Communicate effectively with drivers to provide updates and address any issues or delays.<br>• Monitor shipment progress and resolve logistical challenges as they arise.<br>• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.<br>• Maintain high levels of customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.<br>• Coordinate logistics to maximize operational productivity and minimize disruptions.

• Proven experience in dispatching or a related logistics role.<br>• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.<br>• Proficiency in computer-aided dispatch systems and data entry.<br>• Familiarity with logistics coordination, including intermodal operations.<br>• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to manage high-volume data entry with accuracy.<br>• Knowledge of database management practices.<br>• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
