Technical Writer
<p>We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer to join our team. In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing and streamlining documentation processes within the FinTech industry. Ideal candidates will have expertise in creating user-friendly materials, simplifying complex information, and ensuring clarity across diverse audiences.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Develop and refine procedure manuals and process documentation by collaborating with subject-matter experts.</p><p>• Improve the usability of existing documentation, making it more accessible and agent-friendly.</p><p>• Consolidate and reduce large-scale documents into concise, manageable formats.</p><p>• Create and maintain structured information architecture templates that align with organizational standards.</p><p>• Design evaluation tools and knowledge assessments to ensure the effectiveness of training materials.</p><p>• Extract and organize knowledge from various internal systems and tools to streamline chargeback and dispute processes.</p><p>• Revise and update documentation related to backend processing workflows.</p><p>• Navigate and utilize tools such as Google Suite and intranet platforms to manage and improve documentation.</p><p>• Work with teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in all written materials.</p><p>• Analyze feedback to continuously enhance documentation quality and relevance.</p>
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical writing, with a focus on procedure manuals and user documentation.<br>• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Education, or equivalent experience demonstrating attention to detail.<br>• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe RoboHelp, and Google Suite.<br>• Strong understanding of FinTech concepts, including disputes, chargebacks, merchant services, and network timelines.<br>• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.<br>• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.<br>• Familiarity with AP Style guidelines and best practices.<br>• Proven ability to extract, consolidate, and clean up documentation from various sources.
