Instructional Systems Designer
<p>We are looking for a skilled Instructional Designer to create engaging and effective learning materials for a fast-paced tech organization. In this role,  you will design and develop engaging learning experiences that empower our employees, customers, and partners to succeed. You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts, product teams, and stakeholders to create scalable training solutions that drive performance and product adoption. This is a long-term contract position based in the San Francisco Bay Area.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Design and develop instructional materials including eLearning modules, instructor-led training, job aids, and microlearning content.</li><li>Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create effective learning experiences.</li><li>Partner with SMEs and cross-functional teams to identify learning needs and translate complex technical concepts into accessible content.</li><li>Use authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) and LMS platforms (e.g., Workday, Cornerstone, Docebo) to deliver and manage content.</li><li>Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics; iterate based on data.</li><li>Stay current with emerging technologies, trends in learning science, and best practices in instructional design.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).</li><li>Minimum 4 years of experience in instructional design, preferably in a tech or SaaS environment.</li><li>Proficiency in eLearning development tools and LMS platforms.</li><li>Strong project management and communication skills.</li><li>Experience with video editing, graphic design, or animation tools is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with agile methodologies and design thinking is a bonus.</li></ul>
