<p><strong>Housing Assistance Representative I</strong></p><p><br></p><p><em>Contract 6-month position</em></p><p><br></p><p>The Housing Assistance Representative I supports HUD housing programs by ensuring compliance, assisting tenants and landlords, and providing program guidance across key areas such as inspections, occupancy, rent analysis, outreach, homeownership, family self-sufficiency, and eligibility.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>ensure housing compliance with HUD standards</li><li>Counsel tenants and landlords on program rights and responsibilities</li><li>Analyze rents, negotiate contracts, and review rent adjustments</li><li>Support outreach, marketing, and client services for housing programs</li><li>Assist with eligibility, income verification, and rent calculations</li><li>Provide guidance for homeownership and self-sufficiency programs</li></ul>

<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Valid California driver’s license and insurable driving record</li><li>Knowledge of HUD Section 8 programs and Microsoft Office</li><li>Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills</li></ul><p><br></p>
