Associate
We are looking for a motivated Associate Attorney to join our team in Oakland, California. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex civil litigation cases, particularly in the area of insurance fraud, while contributing to a collaborative and dynamic environment. If you have exceptional analytical skills, a strong academic background, and a passion for justice, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Handle a diverse caseload of complex civil litigation matters related to insurance fraud.<br>• Conduct legal research and draft high-quality pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.<br>• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials, with professionalism and expertise.<br>• Manage discovery processes, including drafting discovery responses and reviewing documents.<br>• Take and defend depositions to gather critical information for case development.<br>• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and ensure successful outcomes.<br>• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing clear communication and updates.<br>• Stay current with relevant laws and regulations impacting insurance fraud litigation.<br>• Contribute to a team-oriented environment, sharing insights and supporting peers.
• Active license to practice law in the state of California.<br>• Proven experience in civil litigation, with a preference for trial experience.<br>• Strong skills in conducting depositions and managing discovery processes.<br>• Excellent legal research and writing abilities, with attention to detail.<br>• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.<br>• Outstanding academic background, reflecting superior analytical capabilities.<br>• Commitment to ethical practices and dedication to client advocacy.
