The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring all financial transactions are handled accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities:• Process invoices and payments while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.• Maintain and update vendor accounts, addressing discrepancies and resolving payment issues.• Manage the accounts payable ledger, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing financial reports.• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely payment processing and resolve queries.• Reconcile accounts and prepare trial balances to support financial reporting.• Support audits by organizing and providing necessary documentation.• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounts payable operations.• Utilize accounting software, including Yardi, to manage financial transactions effectively.• Work closely with managers to ensure all financial procedures are aligned with organizational goals. • At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role. • Proficiency in Yardi software is highly preferred. • Solid understanding of general accounting principles and financial practices. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. • Experience in the real estate or property management industry is a plus.
