Inventory Clerk
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Norton Shores, Michigan. In this contract to hire role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth inventory management processes and maintaining organizational efficiency. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy hands-on work, this position offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Unpack and organize incoming inventory from shipments, including crates and boxes.</p><p>• Sort and store parts in appropriate bins and designated areas.</p><p>• Accurately label and categorize parts and supplies for easy identification.</p><p>• Restock inventory to ensure items are readily accessible for production and assembly teams.</p><p>• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.</p><p>• Stand and move throughout the day, with the ability to work on your feet for up to 8 hours.</p><p>• Lift and transport items weighing up to 35 pounds.</p><p>• Utilize inventory management software, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, to track and update stock levels.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to address inventory discrepancies and improve workflow efficien</p>
• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or inventory management environments.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in completing tasks.<br>• Physical capability to lift and move items weighing up to 35 pounds.<br>• Familiarity with inventory software, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, is preferred.<br>• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus.<br>• Dependability and reliability in meeting job demands.<br>• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members.
