Leasing Assistant
<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Leasing Assistant to join our team in Miami. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting leasing and property management operations while ensuring an exceptional experience for residents and prospective tenants. This is a great opportunity to grow within the dynamic real estate and property management industry in a collaborative and professional environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Greet and engage prospective tenants, conduct property tours, and qualify leads for apartment leasing.</li><li>Maintain accurate prospect records and perform timely follow-ups to maximize leasing opportunities.</li><li>Process rental applications, including credit and background checks, in compliance with company policies and Fair Housing standards.</li><li>Prepare and execute lease agreements, coordinate lease signings, and ensure apartments are move-in ready.</li><li>Provide responsive on-site customer service and assist residents with inquiries or concerns.</li><li>Support lease renewals by sending renewal notices, preparing documents, and following up with residents.</li><li>Monitor and report property rule violations, damages, thefts, or incidents to management.</li><li>Stay informed on property details, sister properties, and competitors to provide accurate information to prospects and residents.</li><li>Respond appropriately to emergencies (e.g., fire alarms, unauthorized access) and notify authorities as needed.</li><li>Collaborate with the property management team to maintain excellent customer service and operational efficiency.</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p><br></p><ul><li>2+ year of leasing experience required</li><li>Strong communication and relationship-building skills</li><li>Highly organized with strong attention to detail</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing role</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with property management software is a plus</li><li>Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred</li></ul><p><br></p>
