Controller
We are looking for a skilled Controller to join our team on a contract basis in North Dinwiddie, Virginia. This position involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in documentation, and supporting training initiatives within the department. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and have a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Supervise and manage financial documentation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.<br>• Conduct detailed reviews and audits of scanned and compiled documents.<br>• Oversee and support document control procedures to maintain organizational standards.<br>• Assist in cross-training the current Controller to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.<br>• Provide guidance and training to newly hired team members in financial and document-related tasks.<br>• Collaborate with team members to streamline scanning and document compilation workflows.<br>• Maintain organized records and ensure timely access to essential documents.<br>• Identify opportunities for improving document management systems and implement solutions.<br>• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure financial and operational clarity.
• Proven experience in document control, scanning, and compiling processes.<br>• Strong understanding of financial operations and management.<br>• Ability to train and mentor team members effectively.<br>• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Proficiency in using document management systems and related tools.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.<br>• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.<br>• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and adaptability.
