Closing Coordinator
We are looking for a highly organized Closing Coordinator to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina. In this contract-to-permanent role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth processing of contracts and closings within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will excel in administrative tasks, attention to detail, and communication while working collaboratively with multiple departments.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Enter sales contracts, addendums, and change orders into specialized software for accurate tracking.<br>• Review contracts and change orders to ensure all information is complete and signatures are properly verified.<br>• Organize and maintain files for contracts, addendums, and change orders while distributing them as needed.<br>• Track and address discrepancies in contracts by maintaining a detailed problem log.<br>• Collaborate with buyers to assist with mortgage loan processes and coordinate with title companies to schedule closings.<br>• Serve as the primary point of contact for buyers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to their home closings.<br>• Work closely with construction and sales teams to coordinate schedules for property walks and closing deadlines.<br>• Set appointments for key handoffs and closing meetings, ensuring project goals for timely completions are consistently achieved.<br>• Maintain effective communication across departments to support buyers and ensure seamless closing processes.
• Proven experience in administrative roles, particularly in scheduling and coordinating tasks.<br>• Strong proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and clear, detail-oriented communication.<br>• Familiarity with calendar management and appointment scheduling.<br>• Ability to order and maintain office supplies efficiently.<br>• Background in handling closing documents and supporting marketing activities.<br>• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.<br>• Adept at working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.<br>• Knowledge of the construction or real estate industry is preferred but not required.
