Accounts Receivable Specialist
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Norcross, Georgia. This contract role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a small business environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting knowledge and a personable demeanor to support invoicing, collections, and cash application processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process daily deposits and accurately maintain records to ensure timely reconciliation.<br>• Generate and distribute invoices to customers while ensuring data accuracy.<br>• Manage accounts receivable collections by contacting clients and resolving payment issues.<br>• Apply cash payments efficiently and ensure proper allocation within the accounting system.<br>• Monitor and track cash activity to maintain accurate financial reporting.<br>• Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and streamline billing processes.<br>• Provide excellent customer service when communicating with clients regarding outstanding balances.<br>• Support the overall financial operations of the business by contributing to process improvements.<br>• Maintain compliance with company policies and industry standards in all accounting activities.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.<br>• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and cash application processes.<br>• Familiarity with commercial collections and billing functions.<br>• Proficiency in managing cash activity and maintaining accurate financial records.<br>• Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.<br>• Ability to work independently and adapt to a small business environment.<br>• High attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.<br>• Proficiency with accounting software and tools to support daily operations.
