<p><strong>Location:</strong> Central NJ (Onsite 3 days per week – locations include Newark and other client sites)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Summary</strong></p><p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>NERC CIP Project Manager</strong> to support large IT projects. This role focuses on preparing and overseeing a <strong>NERC CIP audit</strong>, tracking CIP evidence responses, and ensuring audit readiness. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience managing security projects, and prior audit experience.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Direct project team personnel, manage cost and schedule, and serve as customer interface</li><li>Track CIP evidence responses and ensure audit readiness</li><li>Manage technical scope, cost, and schedule of assigned tasks</li><li>Lead project teams including executives, SMEs, controllers, and schedulers</li><li>Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and deliverables</li><li>Create project management plans, execute governance reviews, and ensure compliance with PMO standards</li><li>Manage project budget, track actuals vs. plan, and provide monthly forecasts</li><li>Deliver high-quality written and verbal communications including status reports and dashboards</li><li>Monitor project tasks, timelines, milestones, and quality of deliverables</li></ul>

<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)</li><li><strong>8+ years</strong> of experience as an IT Project Manager</li><li><strong>3+ years</strong> managing security projects</li><li>Previous experience with <strong>NERC CIP projects</strong> and audits</li><li>Strong communication skills with senior/executive management</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, or similar tools</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment</li><li>Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and decision-making skills</li></ul><p>•<strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>PMP or equivalent certification</li></ul>
