We are looking for a skilled Sr. Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in New York, New York. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to design and implement robust, cloud-based technology solutions that drive business success. Ideal candidates will have a passion for solving complex problems, optimizing data pipelines, and collaborating across departments to deliver impactful results.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Design, develop, and manage scalable data engineering solutions using Agile methodologies.<br>• Facilitate seamless data exchange with external vendors and organizations, including integration of relevant systems.<br>• Collaborate closely with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, DBAs, and cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.<br>• Lead technical projects with a focus on efficiency, quality, scalability, and security.<br>• Continuously refine and enhance data pipelines to improve performance and reliability.<br>• Provide guidance to entry-level team members through code reviews and by promoting best practices.<br>• Implement data orchestration pipelines using tools like Argo or Airflow.<br>• Utilize analytic tools such as Python Pandas, R, Tableau, and Plotly to support data-driven decision-making.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.<br>• 4+ years of experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines, with at least 3 years of Python development expertise.<br>• Proficiency with Snowflake and AWS services such as Kinesis, Firehose, Aurora, Redshift, Spectrum, Elastic MapReduce, SageMaker, and Lambda.<br>• Demonstrated ability to guide less experienced developers and enforce coding standards.<br>• Strong understanding of efficient design principles for both cloud and on-premises environments.<br>• Experience with data orchestration tools like Argo or Airflow.<br>• Familiarity with analytic tools including R, Tableau, Plotly, and Python Pandas.<br>• Solid knowledge of SQL and database management in a cloud-based infrastructure.
