Project Manager- M&A
<p>We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee a major M& A transaction at out client. M& A PM experience required!. In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal part in managing complex projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving successful outcomes. This position is based in New York, New York, and offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Serve as the primary lead for managing the master project plan, tracking milestones, and ensuring alignment among key stakeholders.</p><p>• Facilitate strategic planning sessions with department leaders to identify and document transition requirements across various business units.</p><p>• Develop and deliver dashboards, reports, and progress updates for executive leadership and other stakeholders.</p><p>• Identify project risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies to support seamless business continuity.</p><p>• Collaborate with HR, Legal, Technology, and Finance teams to ensure compliance with operational and corporate policies during project execution.</p><p>• Organize and lead internal working groups, status meetings, and decision-making forums to drive project progress.</p><p>• Support change management initiatives, including developing employee communication plans and training programs.</p><p>• Maintain focus on deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively to manage team velocity and handle new engagements.</p><p>• Create high-quality presentations, reporting tools, and other documentation to support project objectives.</p>
<p>• At least 10 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on PMO leadership.</p><p>• Experience helping a client through M& A work required</p><p>• Expertise in enterprise resource planning, business process design, and organizational transformation.</p><p>• Proven ability to manage complex projects involving business restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, or cultural change.</p><p>• Strong skills in risk assessment, including identifying, analyzing, and mitigating corporate and emerging risks.</p><p>• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments, including HR, Legal, and Technology, to achieve project goals.</p><p>• Exceptional organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach to managing deadlines and priorities.</p><p>• Outstanding written communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in creating reports and dashboards.</p><p>• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.</p>
