<p><strong>Senior IBM Maximo Developer</strong></p><p><strong>Employment Type:</strong> 26 Week Contract </p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Remote</p><p><strong>Pay: </strong>Available on W2 Only </p><p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>We are seeking a highly experienced <strong>Senior IBM Maximo Developer</strong> with deep expertise in <strong>IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9</strong> and <strong>Field Service Management (FSM) / Maximo Mobile</strong> to support our electric utility operations.</p><p>The ideal candidate is a technical leader with strong architectural judgment, a mobile‑first mindset, and the ability to design scalable, resilient solutions that support field operations, inspections, outage response, and compliance-driven workflows.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Lead MAS 9 architecture and platform strategy</strong>, including configuration, governance, environment management (DEV/TEST/PROD), CI/CD, security, RBAC, and performance optimization.</li><li><strong>Design and implement Maximo Mobile / FSM workflows</strong> for T&amp;D field operations such as maintenance, inspections, safety tagging, and storm response.</li><li><strong>Build offline‑first mobile solutions</strong>, optimize sync processes, and configure inspection forms, job plans, and digital procedures to enhance field usability and adoption.</li><li><strong>Develop advanced Maximo customizations</strong>, including automation scripts (Jython/JavaScript), complex workflows, UI logic, asset hierarchies, predictive maintenance, and BIRT reporting.</li><li><strong>Lead enterprise integrations</strong> using MIF and connect MAS 9 with OMS, GIS, SCADA, and ERP/financial systems while designing API and event-driven patterns.</li><li><strong>Drive data migration and governance efforts</strong>, ensuring asset data quality, accuracy, and lifecycle traceability.</li><li><strong>Support key T&amp;D utility processes</strong>, including capital project tracking, asset commissioning, NERC compliance documentation, and reliability-centered maintenance programs.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Required Education &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree <strong>and</strong> 7+ years of hands-on IBM Maximo development experience</li><li><em>(additional experience may substitute for degree)</em>.</li><li>3+ years supporting <strong>electric utility Transmission &amp; Distribution</strong> operations.</li><li>Demonstrated expertise installing, configuring, upgrading, or supporting <strong>MAS 9</strong>.</li><li>Strong experience designing and deploying <strong>Maximo Mobile / FSM</strong> solutions.</li><li>Deep hands-on experience with:</li><li>Application Designer</li><li>Automation Scripts</li><li>Maximo Integration Framework (MIF)</li><li>Workflows and Escalations</li><li>Strong SQL and Java development skills.</li><li>Experience leading complex enterprise integrations.</li><li>Experience working in regulated, audit-driven environments.</li><li>Proven ability to translate field operational needs into scalable mobile workflows.</li><li>Strong communication skills across IT, engineering, and field operations.</li><li>Successful track record delivering solutions in mission-critical utility environments.</li></ul><p>•<strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Experience deploying MAS 9 in <strong>OpenShift</strong> environments.</li><li>Expertise optimizing mobile performance for large distributed field workforces.</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>NERC reliability standards</strong>.</li><li>Experience integrating Maximo with GIS/OMS/SCADA platforms.</li><li>IBM Maximo certifications.</li><li>Experience coaching or mentoring development teams.</li></ul>
