We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial management and a passion for maintaining accurate and efficient accounting processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing month-end close activities and ensuring compliance with financial standards. Responsibilities:• Oversee and manage month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.• Prepare and review journal entries to maintain the integrity of accounting records.• Conduct thorough account reconciliations and ensure proper documentation.• Supervise accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to optimize workflow.• Utilize Blackbaud and other financial tools to manage and analyze accounting data effectively.• Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting regulations and organizational policies.• Provide guidance and support to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative work environment.• Generate reports and provide insights to assist with financial decision-making.• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in accounting.

• Proven experience in accounting management, including month-end close processes. • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions. • Familiarity with Blackbaud or similar financial software. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
