Financial and Advisor Specialist
We are looking for a highly motivated Financial and Advisor Specialist to join our team in New Gloucester, Maine. In this contract position, you will play a critical role in assisting students with financial aid inquiries, course scheduling, and providing guidance on academic programs and career pathways. This opportunity requires a strong background in sales and customer service, paired with excellent communication skills.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Support students in understanding and navigating financial aid options, ensuring they receive accurate and timely information.<br>• Assist students with course scheduling, helping them align their academic goals with program requirements.<br>• Provide guidance on available programs and potential career outcomes to help students make informed decisions.<br>• Perform account setup tasks and oversee incoming payments to ensure accuracy and compliance.<br>• Manage administrative processes related to student financial aid and advising.<br>• Maintain attentive and courteous phone etiquette while addressing student inquiries and resolving concerns.<br>• Deliver exceptional customer service to students and other stakeholders.<br>• Collaborate with advising team members to meet student needs effectively.<br>• Participate in project-based assignments or day projects as needed to support team operations.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.<br>• Proven experience in sales and customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional support.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to work on-site in New Gloucester, Maine.<br>• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.<br>• Proficiency in managing administrative tasks and overseeing financial aid processes.<br>• Familiarity with account setup and payment handling.<br>• Adept at maintaining professionalism and empathy in student interactions.
