Senior Accountant
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis located in New Castle, Delaware. As a Senior Accountant, the role requires a strong background in manufacturing accounting and hands-on experience with month-end close processes and reconciliations. You will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.</p><p><br></p><p>What you get to do every single day:</p><p>• Oversee and execute month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.</p><p>• Maintain and update the general ledger by preparing and posting journal entries.</p><p>• Perform detailed account reconciliations to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.</p><p>• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure proper alignment of financial records.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to analyze financial data and support decision-making processes.</p><p>• Assist in preparing reports and documentation for audits and compliance reviews.</p><p>• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures within a manufacturing environment.</p><p>• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of accounting operations.</p><p>• Provide support on ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as needed.</p>
