We are looking for a skilled Branch/Retail Banking Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in New Braunfels, Texas. This position combines the roles of a Teller and Relationship Banker, requiring excellent customer service, financial expertise, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintain a detail-oriented approach, and contribute to the growth and success of the branch.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Provide courteous and attentive service to customers, handling transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and money orders.<br>• Assist customers with opening and maintaining accounts, ensuring their specific needs are met.<br>• Cross-sell and promote banking products and services to enhance customer relationships.<br>• Manage and balance cash drawers daily while adhering to bank policies and procedures.<br>• Support referral goals and actively participate in sales and marketing activities within the banking center.<br>• Help resolve customer issues and address inquiries with a positive and knowledgeable approach.<br>• Maintain accurate customer records and ensure compliance with all internal guidelines.<br>• Collaborate with other banking centers and assist with Teller duties as needed.<br>• Solicit loan applications, gather required documentation, and ensure accurate processing.<br>• Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support branch operations.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail banking or financial services.<br>• Strong cash handling skills and familiarity with bank operations.<br>• Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships through effective communication.<br>• Proficiency in using PCs and banking software systems.<br>• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.<br>• Knowledge of bank transactions, deposits, and account management processes.<br>• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.<br>• Demonstrated ability to meet sales and referral targets set by management.
