<p>Our client is seeking an experienced Azure/M365 Engineer to join their team, supporting cloud transformation and optimization initiatives. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft Azure and M365 environments in line with security standards, business goals, and cloud strategy.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, deploy, and manage Azure and M365 infrastructure components, including virtual machines, networking, storage, databases, and collaboration platforms.</li><li>Integrate and support hybrid environments by connecting on-premises systems with Azure/M365 services.</li><li>Lead efforts in identity and access management (IAM), including SSO, MFA, and privileged access management.</li><li>Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code templates using tools like Terraform and PowerShell.</li><li>Implement best practices for scalability, security, cost optimization, and resource monitoring.</li><li>Collaborate across Infrastructure, Security, DevOps, and Application teams to support deployments, troubleshoot incidents, and enforce governance policies.</li><li>Produce architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and technical documentation for planned initiatives.</li><li>Manage cost controls, backup, disaster recovery solutions, and ensure compliance with both internal policies and industry regulations.</li><li>Conduct regular audits, compliance checks, and optimization reviews of Azure/M365 environments.</li><li>Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as PowerAutomate, Logic Apps, and Python scripting.</li><li>Stay current with platform updates and emerging cloud technologies.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Qualifications & Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).</li><li>Microsoft certifications (Azure/M365 Administrator Associate or Solutions Architect) highly desirable.</li><li>Proven experience in cloud engineering, IT infrastructure, or enterprise systems integration.</li><li>Hands-on expertise in deploying, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Azure and M365 in large-scale enterprise or compliance-focused environments.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Azure networking, security, identity management, and storage.</li><li>Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and automation best practices.</li><li>Experience working in regulated industries such as legal, finance, healthcare, or public sector preferred.</li><li>Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.</li></ul>
