Attorney/Lawyer
We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Attorney to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a growing firm that provides external General Counsel services, focusing on energy regulatory and business services for various clients. The role is fully remote, offering flexible hours, and requires excellent communication and organizational skills to support the firm’s expanding client base.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including master service agreements, vendor agreements, and operating agreements.<br>• Provide general corporate legal support to clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.<br>• Manage overflow legal work for business clients, maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency.<br>• Deliver timely legal advice and solutions with a 24-48 hour turnaround for client requests.<br>• Collaborate with the firm’s leadership to support client onboarding and business scaling efforts.<br>• Handle regulatory matters and provide counsel on energy-related legal issues.<br>• Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients and team members in a fully remote environment.<br>• Step into leadership responsibilities during periods of increased demand, such as maternity leave coverage.<br>• Assist in developing processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction as the firm grows.
• Active license to practice law in the United States.<br>• Proven experience in contracts and corporate law, with a strong understanding of vendor agreements and master service agreements.<br>• Familiarity with energy regulatory frameworks is a plus.<br>• Ability to work independently and manage flexible hours while delivering high-quality results.<br>• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members.<br>• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.<br>• Proficiency in remote work tools and technology.<br>• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of client interactions.
