Production Scheduler
<p>Our well-established client is looking for a detail-oriented <strong>Production Scheduler</strong> to join their manufacturing team on a <strong>contract </strong>basis (<strong>onsite</strong> in Murfreesboro, TN). This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing production schedules to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing environments and proficiency with <strong>SAP</strong> for scheduling and inventory management. This is a long-term contract position, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced and detail-oriented individual to contribute to impactful projects and lead logistical improvements.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p><br></p><p>Establish Master Planning and Daily Planning Schedule to meet shipping date requirements.</p><p>Analyze plant capacity to determine the timing of production runs.</p><p>Prepare production reports for weekly production meetings</p><p>Discuss overtime requirements with supervisors and managers</p><p>Keep SAP up to date on production progress</p><p>SAP Data management of customer records</p><p>Apply professional knowledge to improve and streamline the existing supply chain systems.</p><p>Define root causes and develop effective corrective action plans.</p>
<p>1. 3 or more years of experience in a supply chain management role.</p><p>2. Understanding and exposure to material flow, process improvement, and/or pull-through systems.</p><p>3. Proficiency in SAP or a similar ERP software.</p><p>4. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.</p><p>5. Possession of dynamic communication and interpersonal skills, and exemplary written and verbal communication abilities.</p><p>6. Highly organized with good decision-making and problem-solving skills.</p><p>7. Experience with LEAN, Six Sigma, KANBAN or WHIP methods is preferred.</p><p><br></p><p>Working Conditions:</p><p><br></p><p>This <strong>temporary </strong>role is located in <strong>Murfreesboro</strong>, TN and the candidate must be able to work <strong>onsite</strong>. The right candidate should be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and interact effectively with different levels of the organization. Flexibility and adaptability are key as the role may demand handling multiple tasks concurrently and working under tight schedules.</p>
