<p>We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The role involves overseeing financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting to support the organization's long-term success.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage and oversee the preparation of comprehensive financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.</p><p>• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is properly recorded and organized.</p><p>• Develop and implement cost accounting practices, including standard cost analysis, to optimize financial performance.</p><p>• Coordinate and lead the annual physical inventory process, ensuring precise data collection and reporting.</p><p>• Conduct detailed reviews and analysis of annual inventory to identify trends and areas for improvement.</p><p>• Collaborate with leadership to provide insights and recommendations for financial planning and strategic decision-making.</p><p>• Monitor and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance operational efficiency.</p><p>• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes to align financial goals with company objectives.</p><p>• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and accounting standards in all financial activities.</p>

<p>• Proven experience in cost accounting, particularly standard cost analysis.</p><p>• Strong expertise in preparing and analyzing financial statements.</p><p>• Comprehensive knowledge of general ledger management and reconciliation.</p><p>• Demonstrated ability to lead annual inventory and physical inventory processes.</p><p>• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and accounting standards.</p><p>• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to support strategic decision-making.</p><p>• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across teams.</p><p>• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Email directly for more info - bryan.thierfelder@roberthalf com</p>
